Residence near Warsow

In Warsaw’s picturesque periphery, Markiewicz realized an extremely challenging commission in terms of craftsmanship. An exclusive residence, the creative work of the Tomasz Czajkowski architectural office, was equipped with a unique, handcrafted staircase. The centerpiece of this arched staircase is the hand-carved wooden railing in the Baroque style. It seems as if the railing, which took more than 7,000 working hours to complete alone, is retelling the story of this unique artistic and architectural epoch. Curved lines, rich ornamentation, and artistic arrangements stand for this.
